Every activity as it relates to life depends on time. Evolution and revolution go by time anywhere around the world. Life itself is fundamentally cradled on time. The Great God who created the heaven and earth deals with mankind on the basis of time. He allows the day to appear with its assigned sun whenever it is time. The same goes with the night that will never descend before its time. Nothing happens before or after time. There is time allotted for everything that occurs upon the surface of the earth. Time is heaven-granted freedom and opportunity to mankind to be what they want to be. Being what one wants to be is optional. Optionality as it relates to the usage of time requires being judgmental within the framework of wisdom. To be judgmental is to make a decision based on time. Unlike a time to be born that is naturally controlled by nature, man is driver of his own time to be or not to be. Man, supposedly driven by wisdom is expected to use his allotted time economically. Man is expected to call for water when thirsty. He is expected to call for food when hungry. He is expected to go to bed when night falls and to wake up when dusk gives way in favor of dawn. Time is vital and needs to be exploited accordingly. The fact is that a wasted time only amounts to the abuse of one’s own opportunity.
A wasted time is not retrievable like wasted water. It is mere naivety to wait for time when it’s time to be or force something to be before the appointed time. The wise man goes by time being led by progressive spirit to do something and be something before dusk sets in. The wise man uses the time in his favor to sow what he expects to reap at the end of the day. The wise man thinks revolutionarily and acts accordingly. He creates the avenue for possibilities; he uses wisdom to measure the future; he sees danger and seeks to prevent its occurrence; he sees the possibility and seeks to bring them to reality, etc. As for the fool he has no definition for life as well as knows not what he stands for. The fool is not a respecter of time because he knows not the value of time. The fool sits and waits for God’s time being ignorant of the time allotted for him in a day’s time.
God had allotted 24 hours for every living thing to harvest daily bread made available on earth. The daily bread has to do with discovering the discoverable; inventing the inventible; seeking the seekable; believing the believable; creating the creatable; promoting the promotable; honoring the honorable; appreciating the appreciable; liking the likeable; preaching the preachable; advising the advisable; reaping the reapable ,etc. It can be understood then that man is his own driver as it relates making appropriate use of his own time on earth. Growth and development ensue when time is properly utilized. Growth and development ensue when wisdom is applied. It can be construed also based on the argument that man is self-contained in terms of being his own heaven or hell. Heaven means creating a conducive social and economic atmosphere where the fruits of joy and happiness would prevail. Joy and happiness prevail in the face of selflessness, kindness, sincerity, love, and the sense of being one’s brother’s keeper. Joy and happiness is the result of equal distribution of national wealth bequeathed to mankind by God. It is the responsibility of state managers to create the necessary time for the prevalence of joy and happiness between and among people.
It is imperative and binding upon those who handle state power to create the time for their people. The equal distribution of wealth is government’s responsibility and not God’s. God has already prepared the necessary conditions and time as it relates to man’s social and economic efficacy.
Indeed, time waits for no man because it cannot be reversed. A wasted time is a minus for any human being while that which is utilized in a timely manner is a plus. Life itself is a plus when utilized appropriately and minus when abused. The usefulness of life has to do with the adoption and practice of defined law, upholding the culture of love and sincerity; the advancement of people-driven proposal that seek to create harmony for a given people.
Life becomes insipid, if not useless, when the value of the human beings is dashed by those who lead. On the other hand it becomes enjoyable and regarded worth living when the time associated with it is made to bear fruits. Time makes money and develops. For time to succeed in bearing fruits, the human mind must make the proposal. Dream and vision are vital components in the usage of time. Indeed, time is all about life. |
