There have been additional appointments in Government.  The Ministers of Defense, Education,  Internal Affairs and Finance; Brownie J. Samukai, E. Othello Gongar, Harrison Kanwea and Augustine Ngafuan have accepted President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf's offer to resume their duties.

An Executive Mansion release says the President on Thursday also appointed Mr. Natty B. Davies to the position of Chairman of the National Investment Commission (NIC); Cllr. Seward Cooper, Legal Advisor, Ministry of State; and Mr. Jonathan Reffell, Ambassador-at-Large.

Thursday's appointment brings to two the batches of government officials recalled so far along with new faces two weeks after President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf sent all but one of cabinet ministers on 'Administrative Leave.'

It can be recalled that on Wednesday, the Executive Mansion announced the bringing back of the first batch of four ministers and a director general.
