Reports reaching this paper say Sinoe County District#2 lawmaker Jeremiah Macaulay is in critical condition at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Monrovia following a motor accident.
According to information gathered from the office of Representative Macaulay, on Saturday, November 30th, the vehicle he was travelling in on his way to the nationwide oil tour in Sinoe County got into a serious accident when his driver overtook another vehicle on the Roberts International Highway in the outskirts of Monrovia.
According to the information received, the accident resulted in Macaulay’s right leg broken in two places, suffered a disjointed waist bone, and several injuries to the body when the car somersaulted during the accident.
Apart from his participation in the ongoing oil consultations, Representative Macaulay was also to visit the newly established statutory district in his constituency and do updates on ongoing projects.
He is currently admitted at the JFK memorial hospital in critical condition and refused visits by nonfamily members.
