In every society, there are more resources than can ever be used. It is an established fact that the availability of resources depends on the cultivation of the MIND to see those things that are opportunities or that are resourceful. An uninformed man is the poorest always in society. In one of my incubated theories, I am internally arguing that a man's sight is not the two balls in the sockets of his eyes, but rather the mind that sees across great oceans and as far as heaven.

Lord, the smoke is gradually overcoming our land, not only tormenting our noses and blinding our eyes as nation and people, it is equally suppressing our breathe and causing us health problems every day that turns. So offensive and deadly, we are being deprived of peace of mind and of the heart.

Student's misbehavior is one of the most attitudinal problems not only to the educational sector/ system of our country, but the society as well. The biggest question that comes to mind is who's to be held responsible to discipline children.

Text: Proverbs 31:10 Theme: The Worth of a Virtuous woman “What is the Price Tag on you as a Mother” Part II
Speaking during the mother's day program at the E.J.Goodridge United Methodist Church on Sunday, the Rev. Victoria Porte-Baryou spoke on the theme, The Worth of A Virtuous Woman Let us talk about the woman in Proverbs 31:10-31 This mother price tag was a virtuous woman. Virtuous means “strength” and this proverb extols the dignity of women and emphasizes the importance of motherhood and home. A virtuous woman has strength and honor; and is able to bear up under many crosses and disappointment. A virtuous woman is dependent on God. How many of you have held up under sexism, racism, unruly children, divorce, peer pressure and single parenthood. A virtuous woman has words that are wise and kind. She knows how to temper her words and hold her peace if need be. She takes care of her household, meaning she can make a meal out of nothing, will stretch a week's worth of food into four week's worth: she can cook and clean with a baby on her hip while helping another child with homework. All of us can find ourselves in this virtuous woman. But how do we maintain our virtue? How are we able to be strong? Is it through our reverence of God and our submitting to His will? We must put God above everything in our lives. We must seek Him; we must serve Him; we must witness to others about Him; we must love Him with all of our hearts, with all of our souls and with all of our minds. Matthew 6:33 says but seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who feareth the Lord, shall be praised. Give her the fruits of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates. We as strong women earn our reward by knowing God and seeking to please Him. Is God the center of your home? Are you trying to please God or to please man?
Scripture doesn't tell us who this woman is, only what she was. A closer look at a virtuous woman can provide invaluable assistance to women today, who are trying desperately to balance their lives. Lets look at the price Tag of the virtuous woman:
Her character (vv10-12) She is virtuous, trustworthy, and committed to doing good. Her life style (vv 13-19) she fulfills all the traditional household roles performed by women, working hard to care for her family. Her values(vv20,21) She has a deep concern for the needy as well as for the welfare of her family. Her sense of self-worthy (v22) she thinks enough of herself to enjoy the luxuries her hard work makes possible for her. Her impact (v23) She is not simply known as her husband's wife he is also respected as her husband.
Her enterprise (v24) She takes step to sell any excess produced in her household. Her enterprise is also reflected in verse 16.
Her Wisdom(vv25-27) The good wife is valued for her wisdom as well as for her work. She is sensitive to what is happening in her household and offers good counsel in a loving way. Her Reward (vv28-30) Her reward is the love and praise of her children and her husband and knowledge that what she values is pleasing to God.
We cannot look at the virtuous woman whose price is far above rubies and her activities and imagine for a moment that women were inferior to men by nature that the gifts and abilities of women were unrecognized in the Old Testament times. Virtue was not was not only a moral characteristic but also a word that clearly indentified a woman of proven abilities. Are you a woman of proven abilities? As a mother it will be a waste of time hearing the word and cannot live by it try to be a mother for God's sake you will be blessed. Remain blessed in Jesus name as you try to maintain or upgrade you price Tags. Never allow your price tags to be up for discounts, uction, big sale, saypay etc. which means do not comprise your faith.
The worth of a Godly woman is her character, testimony, ect. Continue next Tuesday

The word single motherhood simply refers to single parental care and the word single means one person taking the responsibility of a particular thing. Motherhood, a precious title means taking care of a child or children. This is the most difficult challenge any woman can ever endure. Yet parenting single handedly has been an old age endeavor thousands of women have perfectly, but un-intentionally done.

The UN's support to HIV and AIDS prevention, treatment and care will be articulated in a broad three-year strategic framework, which will be under a second phase of a recently concluded Government of Liberia- United Nations Joint Programme on HIV and AIDS. The UN, Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, National AIDS Commission and other partners will, in the next few weeks, include additional information on specific support areas and interventions within the document, funding modalities, and a monitoring and evaluation framework.

The metamorphic arguments relating to statements made by the head of the Executive Protection Service (EPS) Hon. Daniel Othello Warrick, on May 3, 2013 during the observance of the Press Freedom Day in Grand Bassa County, and the Press Union of Liberia (PUL) subsequent response to such, as well as criticisms from Liberians have drawn my attention to comment. Critically speaking, the statements made by Hon. Warrick was appropriate , giving the fact that media institutions have miserably failed to maintain ethical standards and credibility in the process of journalism.
