Cal State Fullerton‘s B.F.A. the musical theatre program is known for producing some of the country’s most talented performers, and this year’s graduates are no exception. All 14 of them recently had the chance to showcase their skills at the Alliance for the Performing Arts showcase at 54 Below, the famous entertainment club in New York City.

The showcase was a huge success – not only did all 14 students get to perform on stage, they also received callbacks from talent agents, managers, and casting directors in the entertainment industry. This is a remarkable achievement that speaks volumes about the talent and dedication of these young performers.

The students also participated in workshops and met with CSUF alumni during their stay in the Big Apple. This gave them the opportunity to network and make valuable connections, which will be important as they forge their careers in the entertainment industry.

But it wasn’t just about the professional opportunities – the students also had a great time exploring New York City and taking in all of the sights and sounds that the city has to offer. Many of them had never been to NYC before, so it was an unforgettable experience.

For Kelly Kudlik, the trip was especially memorable – she returned home with a lead role on a Disney cruise ship. This is an incredible accomplishment for any performer, and it’s a testament to the caliber of talent that comes out of Cal State Fullerton’s B.F.A. musical theatre program.

Another standout graduate is Naya Ramsey-Clarke, who has several agents interested in representing her after graduation. This is a great start to her career, and it’s a clear sign that her hard work and dedication are paying off.

Overall, the Alliance for the Performing Arts showcase was a massive success for Cal State Fullerton’s B.F.A. musical theatre program. The fact that all 14 students received callbacks from industry professionals is a testament to the quality of training and education that they received at CSUF. It’s clear that the future is bright for these talented performers, and we can’t wait to see what they do next.
