Maserati has revealed the pricing details and specifications of its flagship all-electric GranTurismo Folgore. The entry-level Modena model is priced at $174,000 in the U.S., while the more powerful Trofeo will be available from $205,000. The Modena variant is powered by a 3.0L V6 Nettuno engine with cylinder deactivation technology and ZF eight-speed automatic transmission that produces 490 hp and 443 lb.-ft of torque. The Trofeo model adds an electronic self locking differential system as standard and ups the power to 550 hp & 479 lb.-ft of torque. Underlining its performance focus, both variants come equipped with multilink suspension with adaptive dampers. The highlight of the GranTurismo Folgore is its impressive electric powertrain that delivers 751hp & 996lb.-ft of torque, making it significantly more powerful than both the Modena and Trofeo models.

It also comes with a 300km range along with fast charging capability that lets drivers charge up to 80% of their capacity within 25 minutes. In comparison to other supercars, Maserati’s new electric offering sits in a unique position by providing customers with greater luxury along with an added dose of sporting capability that promises exciting driveability on twisty roads as well as smooth cruising when traveling on longer distances. This combination provides owners with a great deal of versatility for everyday use and makes it one of most attractive offerings in this segment when it comes to value for money proposition. As far as Maserati‘s standing goes, they have come up trumps yet again with this vehicle proving itself to be a worthy competitor amongst other premium electric offerings from Porsche, Aston Martin and Mercedes-Benz.

Maserati will start taking orders for its all-electric GranTurismo Folgore from the summer of 2024 with deliveries expected to take place in early 2025. Interested customers can make their bookings online or directly through one of Maserati’s official dealerships located across the US. With its unique combination of luxury and performance, Maserati’s all-electric offering is sure to be a hit amongst supercar aficionados. It remains to be seen how successful the GranTurismo Folgore will be in the electric car segment, but with its impressive performance figures, luxurious design and competitive pricing, it looks set for success when it goes on sale in 2024. It is also interesting to note that Maserati has chosen to launch the Folgore just a few years after its parent company Fiat Chrysler Automobiles unveiled its new range of electric vehicles, indicating the seriousness with which FCA is pushing for widespread adoption of electric cars.
